Earlier in the day, Kohli also dropped a cryptic post on his Instagram story, writing, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”

Naveen, who played for the Kandy Tuskers, had a verbal spat with Amir on the field, after which he hurled some stern words at Afridi. Amir and Afridi played for the Galle Gladiators back then.

Naveen, in the meantime, has been fined 50 percent of his match fees after his altercation with Kohli. The Delhi-born Kohli, on the other hand, was fined 100 percent of his match fees after he also got involved in a war of words with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir, who also got the same punishment.

All three of Naveen, Kohli and Gambhir pleaded guilty to their charges after breaching the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct. Hence, no formal hearing was needed. On Monday, RCB beat the Super Giants by 18 runs after defending a modest score of 126. Naveen picked up three wickets and was the pick of the LSG bowlers, but his efforts went in vain.
