Xiaomi 13 Ultra to launch globally on April 18, check out expected price, specifications and more

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra which has been the subject of rumours for quite some time will be launched globally on the said date.The launch event will also see the debut of the Xiaomi Pad 6, alongside the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China, as per rumours. Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the smartphone on its social media handle.

If reports are to be trusted, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is going to be the company’s most premkuym offering till date. Previously, Xiaomi had launched the 13 Pro in India as its flagship phone. The smartphone was launched at a starting price of Rs 79,900 in India.

Xiaomi 13 UltraExpected specifications

If the rumors are to be believed, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phone is also rumored to run Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 layered on top.

The launch announcement confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature Leica-branded camera lenses. It is expected to have a quad-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor and three more 50MP sensors. For selfies, the smartphone is rumored to have a 32MP camera. Other rumored specifications include a 4,900mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

The design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been tipped multiple times, with the event teaser providing a glimpse of the camera module. The phone is expected to have a slightly large circular camera module housing what looks like four sensors. The leaked renders of the device also showed a punch-hole selfie camera and curved edges. The smartphone is expected to launch in two color options, White Ceramic and Black leather finish.
There is no word yet on when or whether the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch in India. However, with the global launch event just around the corner, Xiaomi fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the company’s latest flagship smartphone.
