Should you consider Xiaomi 12 Pro?

If you are a fan of Android phones and want an all-rounder premium smartphone for gaming, cameras, and productivity, the Xiaomi 12 Pro checks almost all the boxes. Firstly, the phone features a satin-like finish on the rear, making it different from phones with plastic or aluminium chassis.

Xiaomi is also using a high-end display on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The phone offers a 6.7-inch viewing area, and the display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution (3200×1440 pixels), and HDR10+ content. The display has a slight curve, which offers a premium appearance.

Apart from the tall and vivid display, the Xiaomi 12 Pro includes Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and high-end memory tech, like LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, for smooth performance. Even during our review, the smartphone ran multiple apps simultaneously without stutters. However, you may encounter some bugs with the MIUI interface. The Xiaomi 12 Pro recently received an Android 13 update.

However, the most notable part of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is its camera system. The back includes three 50-megapixel cameras, which offer more or less consistent performance. The primary camera has OIS support for stable videos. The sensor also supports up to 8K video recording, though 4K video will suffice for most content creators. To back up this performance, there’s a 4600mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone can attain full charge in roughly 30 minutes with the bundled charger, provided that the user has enabled fast charging in the setting. The phone supports 5G.

If your budget is tighter, Xiaomi is also offering a massive discount on the Redmi K50i. The smartphone is available for Rs 22,999. Customers with ICICI credit cards with Rs 3,000 off.
