The company says that rooted phones, liquid damaged, tampered, or broken cases will not be considered for extended support.

How to avail newly extended warranty on Xiaomi phones?

Customers can visit the nearest Xiaomi service centre to avail the warranty. Here, they will be required to share the invoice of the phone. Users won’t be charged extra for any replacement or repairs if their phone’s issues are included in the new two-year warranty.
