By Ankita GargElon Musk just implemented a daily tweet viewing limit for a different set of users and people who are not logged into Twitter will no longer be able to see any tweets. Following this, the billionaire was heavily criticised by users on Twitter. While people who don’t use much of Twitter won’t be affected by this, those who use it every now or then will likely reach the limit faster. You don’t have to worry about that because there is a simple way to continue using Twitter even after reaching the tweet viewing limit.

How to view tweets for free after reaching daily viewing limit on Twitter?

Well, you don’t have to do much. Users can simply start using the web version of Twitter as the limit doesn’t seem to be applicable here, as far as our experience goes. People who get an error message on the mobile version of Twitter after reaching the limit will be able to check out new tweets on the web version. This is something that even tipster Abhishek Yadav suggested on Twitter. This trick is working for now.

How many tweets can a user view on Twitter?

Under the new restrictions, Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to view up to 10,000 posts per day, while unverified users will have access to 1,000 posts, and new unverified accounts will be limited to reading 500 posts.

Why is Elon Musk putting a limit on tweet views?

Elon Musk, who is the current owner of Twitter, just recently announced temporary limitations on the number of tweets users can read each day and this is due to concerns over “extreme levels of data scraping” and “system manipulation” by AI companies.

“Limits alleviate some of the strain on the behind-the-scenes part of Twitter and reduce downtime and error pages. For the sake of reliability, we’ve placed some limits on the account actions,” the company said.

“The reason I set a “View Limit” is because we are all Twitter addicts and need to go outside. I’m doing a good deed for the world here. Also, that’s another view you just used,” Musk said. Though, the move also seems to be to push users into buying Twitter Blue subscriptions to get high-viewing-limit access because verified (paid) users will be able to see 10,000 tweets a day, which is the highest.
