In March alone, there will be at least four important launches — 2023 Hyundai Verna, 2023 Honda City, 2023 Tata Harrier and 2023 Tata Safari. While the share of SUVs in the domestic passenger vehicle market is continuously rising, Hyundai and Honda will give a much-needed push to the sedan segment with the new-generation Verna and the City facelift, respectively. Honda dealerships have started accepting bookings for the 2023 City for a token amount of Rs 21,000. The City facelift will take on the new-generation Verna. A source confirmed that the City 2023 will start arriving at Honda dealerships towards the end of February and go on display at the showrooms on March 2. Apart from some cosmetic changes, the new City will get an RDE-compliant powertrain.

The SUV now gets advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features like forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert and rear collision warning. It also features a 360-degree camera. Then, there is a new 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster.

2023 Tata Safari

Along with the 2023 Harrier, bookings have opened for the 2023 Safari as well. The above-mentioned new features of the 2023 Harrier have been added to the 2023 Safari as well. Other than these new features, both SUVs also get an RDE-compliant 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, which develops 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque, and can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
