The sub-4 metre compact SUV has been spied testing before it enters the market and there seem to be a lot of changes in it.

The Tata Nexon has been the largest-selling SUV in India for two consecutive fiscals now, beating the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Kia Seltos. In line with its soaring popularity, Tata Motors seems to have made the Nexon 2023 even bolder than before, loading it with several segment-first features.

The Tata Nexon 2023 has been heavily updated on the exteriors and interiors. Talking about the exteriors, the spy images reveal a new front fascia with redesigned headlamps and grille. The taillamps seem to be freshly designed as well. Even the alloy wheels are new.

More than the exteriors, you will be surprised by the interiors. The spy images reveal the all-new two-spoke steering wheel of the Tata Nexon 2023. It looks like the SUV has a new touch panel for climate control. We are also expecting it to get the 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Tata Harrier 2023 and the Tata Safari 2023. Another addition could be a new digital instrument cluster. The new Tata Nexon also gets fresh purple-coloured upholstery.

At present, the Nexon has two engine choices — Revotron 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol (120)PS/170Nm) and Revotorq 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel (115PS/260Nm). The transmission options include 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT. Tata Motors might continue with these powertrains in the Nexon 2023.

The Nexon is currently priced between Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 14.35 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Tata Nexon 2023 price might be in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
