Tata Motors Group global wholesales rise 8% in Q4 FY23


Tata Motors Group global wholesales include volumes of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles (CVs) and Tata Daewoo range, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles (PVs) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

By India Today Auto DeskTata Motors today announced that its global wholesales, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), rose 8% year-on-year (y-o-y) at 361,361 units in Q4 FY23.

Tata Motors Group’s global wholesales include volumes of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles (CVs) and Tata Daewoo range, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles (PVs) and Jaguar Land Rover.

The global wholesales of Tata Motors’ PVs increased 10% y-o-y at 135,654 units in Q4 FY23. The PV sales include sales of electric vehicles (EVs) as well. However, the CV volumes of the company and Tata Daewoo range were 3% y-o-y lower at 118,321 units in Q4 FY23.

Jaguar Land Rover’s global wholesales stood at 107,386 units in Q4 FY23 and include CJLR volumes of 12,737 units. CJLR is a joint venture between Jaguar Land Rover and Chery Automobiles, and is an unconsolidated subsidiary of Jaguar Land Rover.

While Jaguar sold 15,499 units in Q4 FY23, Land Rover despatched 91,887 units.
