Samsung Galaxy M34 5G launched in India, price starts at Rs 16,999Specs, variants, sale date, and more

After announcing the date for the next Unpacked where the brand will announce its next fold and flip phone, Samsung brings yet another mid-range smartphone. On July 7, the company unveiled its much-awaited Galaxy M34 5G smartphone in India.

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy M34 5G offers the same design language as most of the recently launched Samsung phones. The company calls it the ‘Samsung Signature Design’. Overall, the design of the phone looks quite clean and the model also feels sturdy in the hands. As for the price, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G starts at Rs 16,999 and the phone comes in 3 colour optionsPrism Silver, Midnight Blue, and Waterfall Blue. The sale will begin on July 16 via Amazon and Samsung channels.

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. Samsung has followed its traditional design language and included an Infinity U on the front.

In terms of camera specifications, the Galaxy M34 5G includes a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel image sensor with OIS support. The phone also includes an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel depth or macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 12-megapixel selfie shooter for selfies and video calls. Samsung has also confirmed that the smartphone comes with something called a Monster Shot 2.0 that lets users click multiple shots in a single take, and later one can select the best shot of all. Some of the other camera features include – Fun mode and Nightography.

Now, coming to the performance. The Galaxy M34 5G is powered by Exynos 1280 SoC, which is the same chip as we have seen in the Galaxy M33 5G, the Galaxy A53 5G and the Galaxy A33 5G. The launch has been launched in two variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 13 out of the box with OneUI custom skin on top. As for most mid-ranged phones Samsung has launched recently, the Galaxy M34 5G promises four years of OS updates and five years of security updates with this phone. The phone is backed by a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging in the box.
