Before we get to the specifications, let’s check the prices. The phone is available in two storage options — both in three colours.

The base Galaxy A14 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB variant costs Rs 13,999. The model with the same RAM configuration but with a higher 128GB of storage will cost Rs 14,999, which is decent if not the best. Customers can choose between black, light green and silver colour options.

Samsung Galaxy A14 specifications

This year, Samsung has been offering its smartphones in a similar design – be it its premium Galaxy S23 or mid-budget Galaxy A45. The new Galaxy A14 looks similar to its older siblings, but the rear panel features some texture to help users distinguish between its premium and non-premium smartphones. Naturally, the build quality is also different for smartphones to justify the price.

However, the Galaxy A14’s front panel has considerable bezels and an antiquated waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. Samsung has used an LCD display instead of the popular AMOLED display — the latter promises a better viewing experience. The good thing is the 6.6-inch display offers Full-HD+ (1080×2408) native resolution. There’s a 13-megapixel front camera.

The rear panel includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Samsung has added a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera as well, which is slowly becoming uncommon among smartphones under Rs 20,000. The Galaxy A14 can record Full-HD videos at 30fps.

Other key features include expandable storage via microSD card (up to 1TB), a dual-SIM card, a USB-C port for charging, and a 5000mAh battery. Samsung does not provide a charger inside the box anymore due to its commitment to the environment. The official 25W Samsung charger costs Rs 1,299, though customers can also check out cheaper third-party chargers with a Type-C port.
