Paris Hilton says she was drugged and raped when was 15

By India Today Lifestyle DeskParis Hilton, in a new interview, revealed that she was raped by an older man when she was 15 years old. The billionaire heiress, who recently welcomed her first child via surrogacy, also said that she had an abortion in her early 20s.

Talking about the horrific encounter in her interview with Glamour magazine, Paris Hilton revealed that she was living with her grandmother in Palm Springs at that time and would often visit a shopping centre in Los Angeles with her friends. She added that older men used to hang around those stores and speak to them. One day, they invited her and her friends to their house.

“That was our favourite thing to do and these [older] guys would always just be hanging around the stores. We’d talk to them, give them our beeper (pager) numbers,” Paris Hilton was quoted as saying by the Glamour magazine.

Further narrating the incident, she revealed that she was offered ‘berry wine coolers’ to drink, and one of the men was very forceful about getting her to drink it. “When I had maybe one or two sips, I just immediately started feeling dizzy and woozy. I don’t know what he put in there; I’m assuming it was a roofie,” she added.

She recalled that she woke up several hours later knowing that something had happened. “I remembered it. I have visions of him on top of me, covering my mouth, being like, ‘You’re dreaming, you’re dreaming,’ and whispering that in my ear,” she said.

Talking about her abortion in her early twenties, Paris Hilton said, “This was also something that I didn’t want to talk about because there was so much shame around that.”

“I was a kid and I was not ready for that,” she added.

Paris Hilton, meanwhile, also delighted her fans with the first glimpse of her baby on Instagram. On Friday, she shared an endearing photograph of herself with her hubby Carter Reum and baby Phoenix.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum got engaged in February 2021 after dating each other for more than a year. It was in November that year that they got married.
