OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite launched at Rs 19,999, Nord Buds 2 priced at Rs 2,999

By Sneha SahaOnePlus has launched two new products in India today. These products are, the Nord CE 3 Lite and the Nord Buds 2. Both the phone and the wireless earbuds are much upgraded versions of their predecessors. The Nord CE 3 Lite brings a new design as well as powerful specifications, especially in the camera department. The phone comes bundled with a 108-megapixel primary camera and then there are two other camera sensors – one is a depth sensor while the other one is a macro lens.

The Nord CE 3 Lite comes in two variants. The base model includes 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and is priced at Rs 19,999. The top-end or the second model includes 8GB LPDDR4x RAM plus 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. This model is priced at Rs 21,999. The smartphone comes in two colour options — Pastel Lime and Chromatic. The lime colour looks stunning and refreshing. Furthermore, the phone comes with support for 8GB of virtual RAM. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has been launched at a price of Rs 2999. The earbuds also come in two colour options — Lightning White and Thunder Grey.

OnePlu Nord CE 3 Lite specifications

OnePlu Nord CE 3 Lite follows the current trend and comes with 5G support. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, there’s 8GB virtual RAM support as well. It runs on OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W SUPERVOOC charging. The box comes bundled with an 80W fast charger.

The smartphone offers a large 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz screen refresh rate protected with Asahi Dragontrail Star Glass on top instead of Corning Gorilla Glass. There’s an option to switch between 60 Hz and 120 Hz refresh rate. On the side, there’s the fingerprint sensor that doubles as the power button. There’s no AMOLED panel in this one.

On the rear panel, the newly launched OnePlus phone includes a triple camera system consisting of a 108-megapixel primary Samsung HM6 sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, the Nord CE 3 Lite includes a 16-megapixel camera that clicks selfies and video calls.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2 specifications

OnePlus has also launched its new budget Nord Buds 2 earbuds. The new earbuds are much upgraded over the previous generation and this one also comes with active noise cancellation (ANC) support. The buds offer fantastic performance and also battery life for the price it comes at. The company claims the Nord Buds 2 can deliver up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of listening time on a single charge when the ANC is OFF. With ANC ON the company claims that the earbuds offer 5 hours and 30 minutes on a single charge.

The buds offer a flat and short stem-like design that fits decently into the ears. There are touch controls on top of the stem. You can tap on this circular button on top of the stem to play or pause music, answer or reject calls and invoke the voice assistant. Now, to play and pause music simply click on the button once, while double-tap will switch to the next song and triple-tap will take you to the previous track.
