The OnePlus 12 is said to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is yet to be announced by the chip maker. The new chipset is usually unveiled at the end of the year, either in November or December. So, the flagship phones that launch the next year can use the new chip.
Tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming on Twitter that the OnePlus 12 will feature a dual camera setup at the back. It could include two 50-megapixel cameras at the back and a 64-megapixel sensor with a periscope lens. Under the hood, we could see a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging tech. The cited source also asserted that the new OnePlus phone will offer a 6.7-inch display, which will operate at a higher QHD resolution. The panel will likely refresh at 120Hz.
When will OnePlus 12 launch?
Tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming that the OnePlus 12 will launch in December this year, but it will arrive in China. The global launch is expected to take place earlier next year, similar to what happened with this year’s product. To recall, the OnePlus 11 was introduced in India in February and its successor could make it around the same time. There are chances that OnePlus could decide to launch the flagship a little early. At the moment, details about the same are scarce. We are still months away from the launch event and so, it is way too early to get clarity on the next generation product.

The OnePlus 11 was made available in India with a price tag of Rs 56,999 and the new one is expected to be priced in a similar price range because the company is targeting this segment for its flagship phone. Hence, you can expect the new OnePlus 12 to be priced under Rs 60,000 in India when it launches in India. The upcoming OnePlus phone will likely be available for purchase via several e-commerce platforms and offline stores.
