Nothing’s Flipkart page notes that customers who pre-order would need to go to their Flipkart order page between July 11 (9 PM onwards) and 20 July (till 11:59 PM) to finalise the order.

Nothing has not yet revealed the price of the Nothing Phone (2), though the smartphone may cost around Rs 40,000 for the base variant in India. The top variant with 256GB storage may even cost more, say around Rs 45,000. The price of the smartphone is expected to increase significantly compared to last year’s Nothing Phone (1) due to the addition of a much more advanced and powerful chipset — Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The same Snapdragon chipset by Qualcomm also powers flagship devices, including Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Apart from the chipmaker, Nothing Phone (2) will be ready for Nothing OS 2.0, likely based on Android 14. It is also possible that the Phone (2) may not ship with Android 14 out of the box and receive the update later.

Nothing earlier clarified that the Phone (2) would include a 4,700mAh battery, which is bigger than the 4,500mAh battery on the Phone (1). This battery size is also bigger than the one on the latest iPhone 14 Pro (3,200mAh) and even the iPhone 14 Pro Max (4,323mAh). In the Android world, this is a good battery size, at least for flagships that generally include a 4,500mAh battery for faster charging. Similar to the last-gen model, the Phone (2) may offer wireless charging support.

Nothing has also already been teased a little about the design, but it appears the company will redesign the LED lights placement. However, it might not be significant compared to last year. According to a leak, the LED lights on Phone (2) cover more area on the rear panel. The display may also have a slight curve around the edges.
