Upasana Konidela shared throwback photos from her first trimester when she wore a gorgeous Manish Malhotra saree.
By Daphne ClaranceUpasana Konidela has been serving chic maternity looks during her first pregnancy. Having been to red carpet events with her husband Ram Charan, Upasana featured several noteworthy outfits that probably gave moms-to-be some style inspiration.
While the diva is all set to welcome her first child with Ram Charan, she took to Instagram on Sunday to treat her Insta fam with throwback pictures from her first trimester, when she got all dressed up for a photoshoot, wearing a Manish Malhotra saree and styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania.
“#Throwback to being dressed by Manish Malhotra & Anaita Shroff Adajania in my first trimester,” Upasana wrote in the caption, and added, “Was going through my phone & wondered why I didn’t post these earlier.”
The mom-to-be had on a gorgeous pink sequin and beaded saree featuring dainty accents and a delicate hem. The embellishments were embroidered in such a way that it created a zig-zag pattern and a blended applique work.
Adding on to the blingy ethnic charm of the photoshoot, Upasana wore a diamond and ruby necklace with matching earrings. She gleamed in bronzed makeup with highlighter, shimmery eyeshadow and glossy lips.
Earlier, Upasana opted for an elegant bespoke saree when she attended this year’s Oscars 2023 with Ram Charan. She chose the sustainable route and wore a creation by Jayanti Reddy, in which the silk was made from recycled scraps.
Upasana, who is an entrepreneur and the Vice Chairperson of Apollo Life and the Editor-in-Chief of B Positive Magazine, got married to Ram Charan in 2012.
