By Daphne ClaranceGautam Adani’s youngest son, Jeet Adani, has been making headlines today. Jeet Adani got engaged to Diva Jaimin Shah on Sunday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
As per the details available, the engagement ceremony was an intimate affair, attended by close friends and family members of the couple.
While Diva, the bride-to-be, is the daughter of renowned diamond trader Jaimin Shah of C.Dinesh & Co. Pvt. Ltd, Jeet is the Vice President Finance of the Adani Group.
JEET ADANI IS ENGAGED
On Sunday, March 12, Jeet Adani got engaged to Diva Jaimin Shah. A picture of the couple from their engagement ceremony showed them in traditional outfits.
The couple looked picture perfect in pastel hues. While Diva wore a light-toned lehenga set with heavy embroidery, Jeet wore a kurta set with a soft-hued jacket.
WHO IS JEET ADANI?
Jeet Adani is the younger son of industrialist Gautam Adani. As per the Adani Group’s website, he completed his studies from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He joined the Adani Group in 2019.
Currently, he serves the role of Vice President, Group Finance. He started his career in the Group CFO’s office, looking at Strategic Finance, Capital Markets and Risk & Governance Policy, as mentioned on the website.
He is also “spearheading the Adani Airports business as well as the Adani Digital Labs – which is all set to build a super app to cater to all the consumers of Adani Group businesses.”
According to Yahoo Finance, Jeet Adani is over a decade younger than his brother Karan Adani, who serves as the CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ.
When Jeet graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2019, Karan gave his younger brother a shout-out on Twitter.
Sharing a picture with him, Karan wrote, “Congratulations Jeet!! We are all very proud of you.. You did it!! You are finally an engineer.”
Jeet Adani is an aspiring pilot as he once shared a picture of himself flying a plane. “Wishing all fellow pilots and budding aspirants a happy world pilot’s day,” he tweeted.
He also seems to be passionate about cars as he often shares tweets about car races.
As per his LinkedIn page, Jeet Adani is fluent in Gujarati (along with English and Hindi).
