Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Hyundai Exter, Tata Nexon facelift, Kia Seltos facelift, Honda Elevate5 important SUVs launches in India

This will continue in the coming months as original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Kia India and Honda Cars India will introduce altogether new models or updates of the existing ones. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Hyundai Exter, Tata Nexon facelift, Kia Seltos facelift and Honda Elevate are some of the models to look out for.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maruti will launch the Jimny in the first week of June, adding more firepower to its existing SUV portfolio, which includes the Fronx, Brezza and Grand Vitara.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will rival the popular Mahindra Thar. We expect it to be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai will launch the Exter on July 10. The bookings for the vehicle are already underway.

Set to rival the Tata Punch, the Hyundai Exter might sit in the price range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Exter will be the most affordable model in Hyundai’s SUV line-up, which comprises the Venue, Creta, Alcazar and Tucson.

Tata Nexon facelift

The largest-selling SUV in India, the Tata Nexon, will get a major update this year. The vehicle has been spied testing on multiple occasions and is expected to be launched soon.

With all the new bells and whistles, we expect the Nexon facelift to come at a premium. The Nexon 2023 price might be set in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Seltos facelift

Kia is gearing up to launch the Seltos facelift in India. The new model is expected to enter the market in July.

The Kia Seltos 2023 will continue to rival the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, among others. While the current vehicle is priced between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom), the facelift will come at a premium.

Honda Elevate

Honda will showcase the all-new Elevate mid-size SUV on June 6, and it will be launched just before the festive season. The carmaker has already said that this vehicle will be its third volume pillar after the City mid-size sedan and the Amaze compact sedan.

When launched, the Honda Elevate will take on the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the upcoming Kia Seltos 2023, among others. Its price is expected to be in the range of Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
