This will be the most affordable SUV of the Indian arm of the South Korean carmaker and will sit below other SUVs like the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Alcazar and Hyundai Tucson. Here are five important details you should know about the Hyundai Exter.
Hyundai Exter Launch
The Exter will reportedly be introduced in India in July.
Hyundai Exter Bookings
Bookings have already started for the Exter. It can be reserved for a token amount of Rs 11,000 via Hyundai’s Click To Buy online platform or the carmaker’s authorised dealerships.
Hyundai Exter Price
We expect the Exter to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Exter Engine and Transmission
Powering the Exter is Hyundai’s ever-so-reliable 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which produces 83PS of maximum power and 113.8Nm of peak torque. This engine can either be paired with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT.
There is a CNG option as well. However, it comes with a 5-speed MT only.
Hyundai Exter Variants
The Exter has five trims — EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect. These five trims are further divided into 15 variants.
