While the City has been updated with a facelift, the rival nameplate, Verna, will get a full-generation change in a few weeks. The Hyundai Verna 2023 will be introduced on March 21. Let us check out how the two mid-size sedans fare against each other in terms of dimensions.

The Honda City 2023 is longer and taller than the Hyundai Verna 2023. The Japanese model measures 4,583mm in length and 1,489mm in height. In comparison, the Korean model is 4,535mm in length and 1,475mm in height.

But when it comes to width and wheelbase, the new Hyundai Verna triumphs over the new Honda City. The Verna is 1,765mm wide and has a much longer wheelbase at 2,670mm, while the City is 1,748mm in width and has a wheelbase measuring 2,600mm.

The Hyundai Verna even has a bigger trunk than the Honda City. For the Korean brand, the boot space comes out to 528 litres. On the other hand, the Japanese brand can accommodate 506 litres of luggage in the boot.

Hyundai says that it has increased the width of the Verna by 36mm and the wheelbase by 70mm. We are expecting the Hyundai Verna 2023 price in India to be between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2023 Honda City price in India is in the range of Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 20.39 lakh. The car has both naturally aspirated (City petrol) and e:HEV (City hybrid) options.

There is no diesel option in the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna. While the City has ADAS, we expect Verna to also get this feature.
