Read on to know about some amazing tips on how you can take care of your skin and hair after Holi. These tips will not only help you get rid of the rigid stains but rejuvenate your tresses and skin as well.

GENTLE CLEANSE

Use an oil-based cleanser to wash your face after Holi celebrations and avoid indulging in harsh scrubbing. Do not use warm water to wash your face or while taking a shower, as it further dries the skin.

DIY MIX

Aesthetician & Cosmetologist Medha Singh, CEO of Juvena Herbals, shared a DIY pack recipe that you can easily prepare at home and apply after celebrating Holi with your loved ones. Try to prepare it before you head out for the celebrations.

“Prepare a gentle mix of one bread slice, two spoons of almond powder, one spoon of cashew powder, two spoons of milk, two spoons of atta and two spoons of milk powder. Add some water to make a paste,” said Medha Singh.

“Preparing this before you go to celebrate Holi is ideal, as it will be ready for application by the time you need to apply it after the celebrations,” she added.

Just pat yourself dry and apply some essential oil and apply the prepared mix. Rub it well on your skin. “Following your bath using a body wash, remember to use a quality body lotion and an emollient later that night,” the expert added.

MOISTURISE WELL

Keep your skin moisturised as it needs an extra dose of pampering after the Holi havoc. Use a regular moisturiser that suits your skin type. Do not forget areas such as elbows and knees while using a moisturiser.

POST-HOLI HAIRCARE

According to Aesthetician & Cosmetologist Medha Singh, you should to oil your hair, use a hair health pack and shampoo your hair consistently for the next 3 days after Holi. Doing so will help you get rid of all the chemical and colour residue on the scalp, and keep the hair and scalp free from damage.
