By India Today Business DeskGold and silver prices have recorded a hike on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, June 2.
Gold futures, maturing on August 4, 2023, stood at Rs 60,270 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a hike of Rs 36 or 0.6 percent.
Similarly, silver futures, maturing on July 5, 2023, also witnessed a jump of Rs 176 or 0.24 percent and were trading at Rs 72,788 per kg on the MCX.
The prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 60,234 per 10 grams and Rs 72,594 per kg respectively when the market closed on June 1.

GOLD, SILVER PRICE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices were set on Friday for their biggest weekly gain in nearly two months, as a softer dollar and hopes for a pause in the Federal Reserve’s tightening campaign bolstered bullion’s appeal, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold held steady at $1,979.24 per ounce by 0457 GMT. U.S. gold futures were little changed at $1,996.60.
Meanwhile, spot silver ticked 0.1% lower to $23.92 per ounce and was up 2.7% for the week.
