Friendship tattoo is the new trend! After BTS, K-pop group GOT7 members Mark and BamBam flaunt ‘7’

Members got themselves a tattoo of the number ‘7’ which is the number of members that make BTS the supergroup they are. It was interesting how BTS had different versions of 7 tattooed on different parts of their body. It seems another group had gotten inspired by the same.

MARK AND BAMBAM FLAUNT ‘7’ TATTOO

On May 15, GOT7 members Mark and BamBam were seen flaunting their ‘7’ on social media too. Both Mark and BamBam shared shirtless pictures of themselves flaunting the tattoo on their back. The pattern of ‘7’ is obviously very different from the one BTS sported. While BTS’ ‘7’ is more sleek and patterned to represent BTS when combined (as decoded by fans), GOT7 has a more rounded and bold 7 on their spine area.

BamBam shared the picture on Instagram. While it will be long before one can see Jinyoung and Jay B’s ‘7’, it will be interesting to see how the other members have carved the tattoo.

As soon as the picture went viral, fans on social media were quick to make comparisons between the two groups. Although BTS were the first ones to have sort of started this trend, it is heartening to see the bond between members across groups.

ABOUT GOT7

GOT7 made their comeback as a group last year with a self-titled album. The group members are currently focusing on their solo activities with Jackson Wang being on a tour, followed by Mark Tuan also busy with his album preps. Yugyeom and Youngjae too are focused on their individual activity for now.

On other other hand, in BTS, apart from Suga’s, all the other members have revealed their ‘7’ tattoo. Recently, during promotions, when a fan asked Suga about his tattoo, his reaction was truly hilarious.
