IVF (in-vito fertilisation) is a technique to help people who are trying to get pregnant, or have fertility issues, with the conception of a child. The process involves taking several hormone shots to induce ovulation.
In a now-deleted post, Kourtney shared some images on Instagram that featured a behind-the-scenes moment from a photoshoot, on Thursday, in which she was seen wearing a cropped yellow sweater, yellow vinyl pants and yellow heels, according to buzzfeed.com.
On the post, a fan asked Kourtney if she was pregnant, to which she gave an epic reply. “The after effects of IVF (I only acknowledge this comment because I do think it’s important to know IVF affects women’s bodies and it’s not spoken about much) also are we still asking women if they’re pregnant?” she answered.
Kourney and Travis started their IVF journey in 2021. In an episode of The Kardashians, the couple revealed that they paused their IVF journey to try to conceive naturally. However, Kourtney reportedly revealed she had started to gain weight after taking all the hormone shots during her IVF. She added that she finally got her strength back to start the journey again.
Kourtney and Travis got married in May 2022 in Italy with their close friends and family members in attendance. Kourtney has three kids – Mason, Reign and Penelope – with former partner Scott Disick.
