Meta has conducted multiple rounds of layoffs and it was recently discovered that the company has started sacking people in technical roles, including user experience, software engineering, graphics programming, and more. A Meta spokesperson also confirmed the new round of layoffs to CNBC. One of the workers who have been laid off told the cited source that layoffs have been done in product-facing teams. Amazon to eliminate more employees in the coming weeks

Amazon just recently announced the layoff of 9,000 more employees and confirmed that everyone won’t get fired immediately. The company has already started the process of layoff as it was recently reported that over 100 people have been sent elimination emails in departments such as Prime Gaming, Game Growth, and the company’s San Diego studio.

More employees in departments such as AWS, PXT, Advertising, and Twitch have been impacted. In its March blog, Amazon announced that some of the teams are yet to be analyzed and that it plans to complete making the list of roles that will be impacted by the end of April. Amazon did confirm that it will continue to support those employees whom the company has handed over pink slips. They will get packages that include a separation payment, transitional health insurance benefits, and external job placement support.
