Vodafone Idea launches Rs 181 recharge plan with daily data benefits and more, details here

The delay in 5G rollout is putting pressure on the telco as it faces competition from rivals Jio and Airtel, who hold a significant share of the market. As Jio and Airtel roll out their 5G services and offer new plans, Vi is experiencing a decline in subscribers. If the situation does not improve, its subscriber base may fall below 200 million in the coming months. So in order to tighten the horses, Vi has been bringing new services and plans to offer the best value to its existing customers. In a recent launch, Vi has launched a new plan priced at Rs 181, offering data, voice and more benefits.

Vi has silently introduced a new prepaid plan to its mobile recharge listing. Available for Rs 181, the newly added plan is a 4G data voucher that can be purchased with the existing active plan to get more internet data. Vi has launched this plan for users who are relying heavily on mobile data for work or entertainment. With the Rs 181 Vodafone Idea prepaid plan, users can get more data to continue using the internet services.

Let’s take a look at all the offerings, Vi is providing with its newly added data voucher prepaid plan of Rs 181.

Vodafone Rs 181 plan details

While most of the data vouchers offer bundled data altogether, Vi with its newly launched 181 data voucher plan is offering 1GB of daily data for the entire validity of 30 days. Once the 1GB gets exhausted, it will be reset again for the next day.

The plan is made for users who exhaust their daily data offered with the active plan. So by recharging with Rs 181, users will get more 4G data benefits.

Earlier, Vodafone also launched two more affordable prepaid plans with data, calling and SMS benefits. Priced at Rs 289 and 429, these mobile recharge plans offer up to 78 days validity.

Vi Rs 289 prepaid plan: Vi’s new Rs 289 recharge plan offers unlimited calling, 4GB data, 600SMS for 48 days validity. The plan is a good option for users who are using Vi as a secondary SIM and an affordable recharge plan to continue using its services.

Vi Rs 429 prepaid plan: This plan offers unlimited calling, 1000 SMS per day for 78 days. Again, a long term plan which will benefit users who are using WIFI for the internet or Vi as a secondary SIM.
