By Daphne ClaranceThe three-day launch event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), in Mumbai, witnessed some of the best fashion moments by the biggest names from across the world. Hollywood star Zendaya, who landed in India on Friday, made a red-carpet appearance on Day 2 of the event (Saturday, April 1), which was an extravagant fashion exhibition.

The diva in utmost grace was photographed wearing a gorgeous saree by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. The sparkling drape in midnight blue had embellishments so glittery that one could be reminded of a starry night.

The saree did not, however, feature the traditional appeal of the front pleats but instead of it, the pallu extended into a train, covered with heavily-embroidered floral motifs.

Zendaya’s skirt had the charm of a lehenga that swept the floor and had multi-hued floral detailings, featuring Rahul Mishra’s signature style.

In the past, the Dune actress has kept her look classy, minimalist and sophisticated. With her desi look, she went the extra mile and made it sparkly, by channeling the magical appeal of the event, and paired her ensemble with a golden bedazzling blouse.

Dainty statement jewellery pieces offered an elegant charm to Zendaya’s traditional attire and a messy hairdo rejuvenated its dark-hued undertone.

Complementing the glittery touch was the Spider-Man star’s shimmery makeup. Bold eyes, highlighter and nude glossy lips offered a subtle finish to the look.
