The Hyundai Exter will be one of the most important launches of the year.

By India Today Auto DeskJuly is going to be a busy month for certain original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as some interesting launches are lined up. Kia India will introduce the facelift of its best-seller, the Seltos, while Maruti Suzuki India will bring the Invicto and Hyundai Motor India is ready with the Exter. Also, the maiden motorcycles from Hero-Harley and Bajaj-Triumph partnerships will enter the market. Let us talk about these cars and bikes in detail.

Kia Seltos facelift

The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will be launched in India on July 4. The unofficial bookings for the updated model have already begun at select dealerships for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Seltos 2023 gets redesigned headlights, DRLs and taillights, all of them being LED units. The grille and bumpers have been redone, and the alloy wheels are new. There are major updates inside the cabin as well with a new infotainment system, instrument cluster and HVAC system having segment-first dual-zone climate control. The mid-size SUV now boasts a panoramic sunroof and ADAS with reportedly 16 features.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

The Invicto, which will be launched on July 5, is based on Toyota’s Innova Hycross MPV. It will be Maruti’s flagship vehicle once it is launched.

Maruti has tweaked the exteriors of the Invicto a bit. There is a different grille, the front bumper has been redone and the alloy wheels are new. Of course, the logo and badgings are distinct.

The official bookings for the Invicto have opened for a token amount of Rs 25,000. At present, Maruti is accepting bookings for just a single variant — Maruti Invicto IE Strong Hybrid Alpha+ 2L CVT 7STR — and a single colour — Nexa Blue (Celestial).

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter

With the Exter, Hyundai will enter the micro-SUV segment. This model will be the carmaker’s most affordable SUV and will sit below the Venue. The Exter launch is scheduled for July 10 and it will take on Tata Motors’ Punch.

The Hyundai Exter is one feature-loaded vehicle and boasts a parametric grille, projector headlamps, H-signature LED DRLs, H-signature LED taillamps, 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch coloured TFT MID, automatic climate control, dashcam, cruise control and a sunroof.

Harley-Davidson X440

Harley-Davidson X440

The most affordable Harley-Davidson motorcycle, the X440, will be launched in India on July 3. This is the first motorcycle to be borne out of the partnership between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson.

Designed and built from the ground up in India, the Harley-Davidson X440 will have a 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It will be based on a double-downtube type frame, having USDs at the front and twin rear shocks with adjustable pre-load.

Bajaj-Triumph scrambler

Bajaj-Triumph scrambler

The first bike from Bajaj Auto’s union with Triumph Motorcycles will be a scrambler and it will be launched in India on July 5. This motorcycle is expected to be priced between Rs 2.50 lakh and Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
