Apple offering free AirPods, big discounts on Macs and iPads for students

Apple is offering free AirPods with select Macs and Apple Pencil with select iPads, in addition to 20 per cent off on AppleCare Plus service, and more.

Valid from June 22 to October 2, these offers give customers a chance to save on Mac or iPad with educational pricing. For regular customers or non-students, Back to University could be a great chance to buy a Mac or iPad with a discount if you have someone’s valid student ID. Readers need to remember the invoice will be under the student’s name, but you can set up the device with your personal ID. Moreover, teacher can also enjoy Back to University offers.

Apple is also offering free AirPods with select Macs and Apple Pencil with select iPads, in addition to 20 per cent off on AppleCare Plus service, and more. These offers are available across Apple channels – online and offline (Apple BKC and Apple Saket. Customers can also enjoy deals and offers at Apple resellers, where you may get an additional discount or bank offers.

During the sale, Apple is selling MacBook Air 13 M1 for Rs 89,900 instead of Rs 99,900, while the Air 13 with M2 is retailing for Rs 1,04,900 instead of Rs 1,14,900. Apple’s new MacBook Air 15 with M2 is also getting an off, weeks after its official launch. It is retailing for Rs 1,24,900 instead of Rs 1,349,00. If you want to get a Macbook Pro, the 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch models are available for starting at Rs 1,19,900, Rs 1,84,900, and Rs 2,29,900, respectively. With the student discount, these models are available for starting Rs 1,29,900, 1,99,900, and Rs 2,49,900.

Apple says all these Mac models are available with free AirPods.

Apart from Macbooks, Apple is offering the iMac for Rs 1,24,900 as a part of the Back to University discount. The Mac mini is also available with a great discount for just Rs 49,900. There are no discounts on the Mac Studio or the newly launched Mac Pro with M2 series SoCs. Lastly, if you want an iPad, the iPad Air, iPad Pro 11, and iPad Pro 12.9 are available for Rs 54,900, Rs 76,900, and Rs 1,02,900, respectively. These iPad models will also be available with a Pencil.

The Back to University offers do not cover iPhone or Apple Watch smartwatches. If you want a new iPhone, the iPhone 14 is selling for Rs Rs 68,999 instead of Rs 79,900. Additionally, users can get Rs 4,000 off on HDFC bank credit cards.
