By India Today Business DeskBoth gold and silver prices are retailing on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, June 12, 2023.
Gold futures, maturing on August 4, 2023, stood at Rs 59,801 per 10 grams, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 20 or 0.03 percent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 59,821.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 238 or 0.32 percent and were retailing at Rs 73,558 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 73,796.

GOLD PRICE ON INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices edged lower on Monday as the dollar held firm, while investors looked forward to U.S. inflation data and the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike verdict.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold was down 0.2% at $1,956.82 per ounce by 0454 GMT. U.S. gold futures eased 0.3% to $1,971.10.
Spot silver fell 0.7% to $24.0993 per ounce.
