By India Today Auto DeskHonda Cars India today showcased the new Honda Elevate, which will enter the mid-size SUV segment and rival the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos, among others. The vehicle will be launched in the country during the upcoming festive season. Here is how it fares against its two major rivals in terms of dimensions.
Among Elevate, Creta and Seltos, Kia’s vehicle is the longest at 4,315mm. In terms of height, it is Elevate, which triumphs at 1,650mm. The Seltos is the widest at 1,800mm. However, the Elevate takes the pole position when it comes to the wheelbase at 2,650mm.
Besides, the Elevate has the largest boot among the three SUVs at 458 litres.

The Honda Elevate only has one engine option — 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol (121PS/145Nm). This engine can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed CVT automatic. There is no hybrid powertrain as of now.
With no hybrid powertrain on offer, we expect the Honda Elevate price to be in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
