After the Pixel 7a launch, the price of its successor, the Google Pixel 6a has seen a drop. This was a much-expected move and the Google Pixel 6a now costs Rs 27,999.

The Google Pixel 6a is now available on Flipkart for Rs 27,999. The original price of the phone is Rs 43,999. This means that the Pixel 6a has a straight price drop of Rs 16,000.

The phone, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, launched in India last year. It was considered to be one of the best mid-range smartphones, perfect for people who wanted the best quality without breaking the bank. The phone had received positive reviews from critics, who praised its design, display, camera, battery life, and software.

According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, the Pixel 6a had sold over 10 million units worldwide in the third quarter of 2022, making it one of the most popular smartphones in the market.

However, for those of you who can spare a couple thousand more, I would suggest going for the newly-launched Pixel 7a. The phone has launched for Rs 43,999 but can be yours at an effective price of Rs 39,999 if you combine it with bank offers. As mentioned already, Pixel 6a had also launched for Rs 43,999 last year. Now that we have Pixel 7a for the same price, it makes sense to choose Google’s latest offering over the former unless there are budget constraints.

Google had launched the Pixel 6a in July 2022 and it turned out to be a budget-friendly option for people eager to jump on the 5G bandwagon. The Pixel 6a is powered by Google’s in-house chip, the Google Tensor, that results in a smooth performance and enhanced the overall experience of customers.
