2023 Tata Harrier bookings open, gets ADAS now


2023 Tata Harrier price is expected to start at Rs 15.50 lakh and go up to Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors today announced the opening of bookings for the 2023 Tata Harrier, which has been upgraded with a plethora of features, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), new-generation infotainment system and instrument cluster, and real driving emission (RDE) norms-compliant engine.

While the old Harrier was priced in the range of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 22.60 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Harrier price might start at Rs 15.50 lakh and go up to Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Harrier 2023 will take on the MG Hector 2023 and Jeep Compass.

There are no updates to the exteriors of the new Harrier. Based on the OMEGA architecture and showcasing the Impact Design 2.0 philosophy, the SUV continues to be offered with HID projector headlamps, LED taillamps, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof.

Inside the cabin of the new Harrier, you get extensive Oak Brown treatment on the dashboard. The Benecke-Kaliko Oak Brown seat upholstery adds an extra bit of premiumness to the cabin. A new 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been added and it supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The iRA connected car technology offers a host of connectivity features pertaining to vehicle security, vehicle diagnosis, location services and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Besides, the SUV gets a new 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster.

The most important addition to the 2023 Tata Harrier is the ADAS with features like forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, lane change alert, door open alert, rear cross-traffic alert and rear collision warning. Another significant addition is the 360-degree camera.

Tata Motors has also upgraded the engine of the 2023 Harrier to comply with the upcoming RDE norms. The 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine produces 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. It can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
